The Financial Planning Process
For those of significant means who desire fully integrated, dynamic financial planning, we recommend working with one of
our financial planners and the team that supports our process. This is fee-based planning that includes
- Evaluating your financial position
- Designing adequate protection
- Planning for wealth accumulation
- Offering tax reduction strategies
- Exploring retirement planning options and estate planning.
Each one of these are comprehensive and included in our fee-based plan. We like to get to know our clients and understand
what is truly important to them. We ask the right questions and then we listen to what you are saying which will lay the critical
foundation of our long-term relationship.
Our financial planners use a four-step process to arrive at sound financial plans:
- Analyze - We ask questions and listen carefully to you. Then, we compare your existing plan with your values and
objectives to see if they are in synch or if they deviate from what you want to achieve.
- Design - We prepare a written program designed especially for you. At this point we evaluate gaps you may have in your
plan and we offer solutions and suggestions on how to reach your objectives more effectively.
- Implement - When our recommendations make sense to you, we work with you to put your plan into action and help you
coordinate and secure the required services and products.
- Review - We monitor and report progress to you on an ongoing basis, through planned, periodic reviews. We help you keep
your plan current in an ever-changing financial environment.
General Financial Strategy Process
Most people need a general financial strategy process. Their situations most likely do not require all-encompassing
comprehensive financial planning. Or, they may have a single need or "one goal" financial plan such as college funding, estate
planning, or a retirement plan. Perhaps you’re a business owner who wants to fund a buy-sell agreement or a family head who
needs to balance insurance and investments as your personal net worth increases.
We find that smart strategies result from a process that supports your making fully informed decisions. It
takes time and it takes a solid relationship. During that relationship we:
- Understand you, your needs, and what you want
- Examine your current situation
- Recommend the appropriate adjustment needed for your present course
- Implement your decisions
- Keep you informed with ongoing support so you can pursue your own best interests.
